Join our dynamic Digital team and play a crucial role in scaling a robust and reliable network infrastructure for our pioneering space projects.
More specifically, you will:
- Plan, design, and implement secure and efficient network infrastructure for the space industry company, ensuring seamless connectivity and data transmission
- Ensure the reliable and secure operations of our IT network environment
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices from various vendors
- Provide support for network environment and systems at different levels, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level instances
- Effectively troubleshoot and analyze outages, issues, or faults, with the ability to recover to operative mode promptly
- Monitor the stability and availability of the network
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of global IT Infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with IT teams to assess network capacity requirements and scalability to support the company's growth and evolving needs
- Identify process issues and implementing smarter and more efficient support solutions
- Organize your tasks and priorities to ensure reliable and timely problem resolution
- Collaborate closely with our IT Helpdesk, office management, and other departments
- Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve overall network performance and efficiency
Who you are and what you have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in network administration
- At least three to five years of hands-on networking experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience that aligns with the requirements of this position
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
- Ideally, you possess certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ that showcase your specialized knowledge in networking
- Sound understanding of network and routing protocols, enabling you to effectively manage network traffic and optimize connectivity
- Proven experience in working with firewalls, implementing Internet VPNs, troubleshooting network issues, and effectively resolving problems that arise
- Operational knowledge of firewall configuration, ensuring robust security measures and safeguarding our network infrastructure
- Experience in deploying and maintaining network devices, allowing for seamless operations and minimal downtime
- Ability to resolve trouble tickets escalated by the IT help desk team promptly, providing efficient solutions to technical issues
- Strong collaborative skills, enabling effective teamwork across multiple disciplines and cross-functional teams
- Highly organized and proactive, with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work
- Demonstrated self-responsibility, a team-player attitude, risk awareness, proactivity, and the ability to independently prioritize daily tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to end-users
- Fluent in English

- Having a valid driver's license is an additional requirement for this position; you will have the opportunity to travel as needed, whether it's for on-site support, network infrastructure maintenance, or collaborating with team members across different locations
