Internship Overview:

We are seeking a Computer Graphics Intern to support the Lunar Access Services program for the Summer of 2026. This individual will work closely with engineers on the computer graphics and navigation teams to support optical navigation, simulations, and testing. They will work in Unreal Engine 5 and Python to generate synthetic imagery of the lunar surface to help develop robust systems for lunar landings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate synthetic lunar imagery in Unreal Engine 5 for optical navigation development and testing
  • Work in UE5 on synthetic imagery project improvements for higher fidelity realism and generation optimization

Qualifications:

  • College Undergrad rising junior, majoring in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in Unreal Engine 5
  • Experience using UE Blueprints and C++ programming
  • Experience in Python programming
  • Basic familiarity with the 3D art pipeline and tools such as Blender, Maya, or equivalent
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and software teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience using source control such as Git, Perforce, or similar
  • Portfolio showcasing past work, either from college classes or personal projects
