FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS LEAD

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective financial management across multiple business units.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Planning:
   • Lead the development and execution of strategic financial plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
   • Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide strategic insights.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Oversee the budgeting process for multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall company objectives.
   • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and decision-making.

3. Operational Financial Analysis:
   • Conduct in-depth analysis of operational performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
   • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.

4. Financial Reporting:
   • Develop and enhance financial reporting systems to provide timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders.
   • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with leaders from various business units to understand their financial needs and challenges.
   • Provide financial guidance and support to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

6. Strategy Implementation:
   • Assist in the implementation of financial strategies that support the overall growth and success of the organization.
   • Work closely with leadership to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or aviation.
• Experience managing financial operations across multiple business units.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Have Qualifications:

• Background in SQL for data cleaning and reporting
• Background in Deltek Costpoint a plus
