ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the IT Systems Engineering team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to deploy and configure physical and virtual systems, also providing documentation that will be available across the organization to define a better strategy for our diverse monitoring environment and to apply that acquired knowledge.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work together with the IT Systems Engineering team in the deployment of physical and virtual systems
• Improve and update current documentation
• Provide support for hypervisor management
• Provide other ad-hoc support for various internal stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE

1.You must have

• Current student in Information Technology, Computer Science or in a relevant area
• Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration
• Good knowledge of hypervisor servers (VMware, Proxmox and/or Nutanix)
• Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset
• EU-citizens or work permit for Luxembourg

2. It would be nice if you had

• Good knowledge of Backup technologies
• Good knowledge of systems monitoring
• Basic knowledge of Network administration
