Requisites
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in GNC/AOCS systems for satellites.
- Heritage in at least one successful satellite mission as part of a GNC, AOCS or Flight Dynamics team.
- Excellent programming skills, with experience in MATLAB/Simulink and autocoding practices. Implemented and verified software on flight computer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external partners.
- Proficiency in English.
Responsabilities
- Development of state-of-the-art GNC algorithms.
- Integration of said algorithms into the overall architecture and align with system parameters (sensors, actuators, and computers).
- Sensitivity analysis to define the performance of the GNC algorithms.
- Actively participate in the definition of Rendezvous ConOps (Concept of Operations) and Safety Concepts, including Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) strategies.
- Support the development and execution of GNC Validation & Verification processes to ensure the reliability and efficacy of the Rendezvous solution.
