Key Responsibilities
Immigration Case Management & Expertise
- Manage complex and high-priority immigration cases for employees and their family members entering, residing in, or extending their stay in Cyprus.
- Provide expert guidance on Entry Permits, MBCS, MVIS, MFR, MFR to MBCS conversions, and permit extensions.
- Review, verify, and approve documentation for residence permits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Cyprus immigration regulations.
- Monitor application progress, proactively resolve issues, and liaise with authorities and service providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of immigration cases, residence permits, passport validity, and related analytical data.
- Ensure timely processing and exchange of physical immigration documents.
Stakeholder & Service Provider Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees, providing clear, structured, and timely immigration guidance.
- Communicate complex immigration requirements in a clear and employee-friendly manner.
- Coordinate with external providers (medical centers, insurance companies, relocation partners).
- Arrange medical examinations, transportation, accommodation bookings and extensions.
- Oversee invoice processing and payments related to immigration and relocation services.
Compliance, Advisory & Process Improvement
- Monitor changes in Cyprus immigration legislation and proactively advise employees and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards across all immigration activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and regularly update relocation guides and internal documentation.
- Contribute to the improvement and standardization of immigration processes and workflows.
- Share expertise and best practices with the team; provide guidance or mentoring to junior specialists when required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience as a Senior Immigration / Migration Specialist.
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of Cyprus immigration law and procedures (essential).
- Ability to independently manage complex and sensitive cases end-to-end.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and case-prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of client orientation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with case-management and ERP systems such as Jira, Zoho, NetSuite, or similar.
