Responsibilities
- Corporate, financial narrative: Own corporate positioning; develop earnings-style messaging frameworks (growth drivers, unit economics, risk disclosures, forward-looking language)
- Media strategy, spokesperson work: Lead Tier-1 business/tech media relations (FT/Bloomberg/Reuters/CNBC, etc.); secure exclusives/briefings; prep execs.
- Disclosure discipline (pre and post-placement): Run content and sign-offs with Finance/Legal (post-placement: accuracy checks, quiet-period norms, blackouts, leak response, statements).
- Executive visibility: Craft content, keynotes, and briefing books; secure interviews and stage time at US/UK conferences; coordinate media training.
- Milestone communications: Funding/M&A/credit announcements, product and multi-vertical updates, partnerships, ESG/impact moments; manage embargoes and media lists.
- Measurement and reporting: Define KPIs/OKRs; build dashboards; analyze SOV, sentiment, message pull-through.
- Agency management: Scope SOWs, manage deliverables and budgets; ensure ROI and quality.
- Issues/crisis: Maintain playbooks.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years in corporate/financial communications at a tech company or top agency (consumer tech, marketplaces, mobility/fintech, or platform/SaaS strongly preferred).
- Proven record landing Tier-1 US/UK business media and shaping complex corporate stories (funding rounds, M&A/partnerships, regulatory or market shifts).
- Built disclosure and approvals with Finance/Legal; familiarity with quiet-period norms and forward-looking language.
- Multi-region program leadership and agency/vendor management experience.
- English: C1+, like-native or native proficiency
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills, portfolio preferable
- Experience in working with multi-cultural and international teams
