Responsibilities
- Lead strategic government and stakeholder engagement to support the implementation and scaling of inDrive’s social impact programs in diverse geographies.
- Develop and manage high-level relationships with government agencies, regulatory authorities, legislators, local leaders and NGOs, multilateral organizations to build strong coalitions around inDrive’s Mission.
- Coordinate policy advocacy efforts, ensuring alignment between local government priorities and inDrive’s impact programs aimed at equal access to clean air and water, safety from violence, protecting children’s and women’s rights, quality education, economic opportunity, cultural development.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to internal teams, offering insight on how to adapt impact initiatives to local legal frameworks, socio-political environments, and institutional dynamics.
- Drive project management and cross-functional coordination between local GR teams, external GR agencies, and the global Impact team to ensure consistent messaging, stakeholder engagement, and deliver results in terms of policy change.
- Promote the integration of Good Governance principles (transparency, accountability, ethical leadership) into all external engagements, policy efforts, and strategic communications.
- Translate complex regulatory and policy concepts into actionable, accessible strategies for internal stakeholders across departments and regions.
Qualifications
- Deliver policy change – this is a role focused on outcomes. inDrive’s Good Governance initiative has been established to make a meaningful contribution to inDrive’s Supermission to improve the lives of a billion people by 2030. To do this, a policy change will be needed, and outcomes, not process will be the key metric
- Establish and Cultivate Impact Partnerships – In cooperation with X-functional teams, develop and formalize at least 2-3 strategic agreements annually with government bodies or key stakeholders that deliver measurable results for both inDrive’s social mission and partner objectives.
- Drive Meaningful Social Impact – Ensure inVision projects reach significant beneficiary numbers while creating substantive change in communities, with documented success stories and impact assessments to support continued investment.
- Create Locally Relevant Solutions – Successfully adapt global Impact initiatives to meet specific local needs and cultural contexts, achieving high satisfaction rates from local stakeholders and strong community engagement across diverse markets.
- Enhance inDrive’s Reputation – Strengthen inDrive’s standing as a good corporate citizen through strategic government engagement, resulting in positive perception among authorities, media coverage, and community recognition (to be measured by Reputational Audit annually).
- Pilot Good Governance practices in Impact projects – Create sustainable public-private partnership models and frameworks that ensure the long-term success of social programs. Develop formal agreements that clearly outline roles, responsibilities, and accountability measures, and facilitate coordination between internal teams and external partners.
- Develop 2025-2026 plan for piloting Impact projects enhanced by Good Governance practices across top priority countries, resources estimation, and develop metrics of success.
