Responsibilities
- Lead inDrive’s public policy strategy in the Philippines, focusing on regulatory engagement, advocacy, and strategic government relations.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with national and local government agencies eg DOTr, LTFRB, MMDA, DILG, legislators, and policymakers.
- Monitor and analyse transport related legislative and regulatory developments, including those relevant to ride-hailing, digital platforms and mobility as a service.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies to support inDrive’s market expansion, license acquisition, and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams legal, communications, operations, sustainability to shape aligned policy positions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, or public sector engagement preferably in digital economy sectors.
- Demonstrated experience working with or within government agencies, union groups and policymakers in digital regulation and labour reforms.
- Familiarity with platform economy and the policy and political environments that surround them.
- Strong network of contacts across relevant Philippine government institutions, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
- Strong policy analysis, writing, and strategic thinking skills.
- Self starter with high integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.
