Responsibilities

  • Lead inDrive’s public policy strategy in the Philippines, focusing on regulatory engagement, advocacy, and strategic government relations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with national and local government agencies eg DOTr, LTFRB, MMDA, DILG, legislators, and policymakers.
  • Monitor and analyse transport related legislative and regulatory developments, including those relevant to ride-hailing, digital platforms and mobility as a service.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to support inDrive’s market expansion, license acquisition, and compliance efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams legal, communications, operations, sustainability to shape aligned policy positions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, or public sector engagement preferably in digital economy sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience working with or within government agencies, union groups and policymakers in digital regulation and labour reforms.
  • Familiarity with platform economy and the policy and political environments that surround them.
  • Strong network of contacts across relevant Philippine government institutions, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
  • Strong policy analysis, writing, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Self starter with high integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.
