A Media Content Manager creates, curates, and manages content across various media channels to enhance inDrive’s brand presence, engage audiences, and support marketing and communication goals. This role involves a mix of content creation, digital marketing, social media management, storytelling, and collaboration with partners on special media projects.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Manage development of engaging multimedia content, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, videos, graphics, and podcasts.
- Ensure content aligns with inDrive’s brand voice, values, and audience preferences.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and SEO optimization.
- Work with external contractors (writers, designers, videographers) to produce high-quality content.
Social Media & Digital Strategy
- Manage social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) by scheduling posts, interacting with audiences, and analyzing engagement.
- Monitor trends and implement best practices for increasing reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and copywriters to produce visually appealing content.
Brand Storytelling & Messaging
- Craft compelling narratives highlighting inDrive’s mission, projects, and key messages.
- Develop content campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Partnerships & Media Special Projects
- Collaborate with external partners (media agencies, influencers, NGOs, and corporate partners) on special media projects and campaigns.
- Develop joint content initiatives with partners to amplify impact.
- Manage co-branded content and ensure alignment with both parties' communication strategies.
Technical Specifications & Contractor Management
- Oversee technical aspects of content production, including video formats, resolution standards, and platform-specific requirements.
- Work with tech teams on CMS configurations, website content updates, and integrations with media platforms.
- Manage relationships with freelance contractors (videographers, photographers, animators, developers) and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Use analytics tools to track content performance and engagement metrics.
- Optimize content strategies based on insights and audience behaviour.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for content improvement.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work with marketing, PR, and creative teams to align content with broader company goals.
- Coordinate with external partners, influencers, and media outlets for content distribution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging media technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and digital marketing tools.
- Basic graphic design, video editing, or multimedia production skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Familiarity with media production technical specs (video formats, resolutions, file types).
- Experience in managing partnerships and collaborating on media projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
