We are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our Marketplace Efficiency (Market Research) team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our understanding of market dynamics, uncovering growth opportunities, and enabling data-driven decision-making to improve the efficiency and performance of our marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for marketplace growth and optimization;
- Develop and refine metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor market performance and guide strategic decisions;
- Generate and validate hypotheses to address key market challenges, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders;
- Investigate anomalies and deviations in key metrics, identifying root causes and proposing solutions;
- Build predictive models and advanced analytics frameworks to forecast market trends and inform resource allocation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
- Strong analytical mindset with structured and critical thinking, and the ability to balance resource investments with business impact
- Solid mathematical foundation, especially in statistics, time series analysis, and econometric modeling
- Proficiency in Python and relevant data analysis libraries
- Advanced skills in SQL, including working with large datasets, writing and optimizing complex queries, and creating analytical data marts
- Experience with BI tools like Plotly, Redash, or Tableau
- Familiarity with building interpretable ML models or econometric models is a strong advantage
