As the Senior Technical Recruiter (University & Early Career) at Impulse Space, you will build and scale our university, internship, and early career hiring programs. This role is critical to developing long-term talent pipelines across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute a target school strategy aligned with hiring needs (engineering, technical, and business roles)
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, faculty, and student organizations
- Identify and prioritize programs that consistently produce top-tier technical talent
- Own full-cycle recruiting for internships (summer, fall, spring) & full-time new graduates roles
- Build and scale a best-in-class internship program, including: offer timing and conversion strategy, intern onboarding and experience & conversion to full-time hiring
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in communications, psychology, or related field
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on university or early career hiring
- Proven ability to build or scale campus recruiting programs
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience hiring for technical roles (engineering, manufacturing, etc.)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple hiring cycles and timelines simultaneously
- Willingness to travel for campus events and recruiting activities
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of demonstrated recruiting experience in aerospace, hardware, or high-growth startup environments
- Established network/relationships with top engineering schools and programs
- Experience designing internship programs that convert to high full-time retention
- Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
