As a Receptionist with Impulse, you will serve as the first point of contact for our Colorado facility. You will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and organized front office environment while supporting daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate is highly reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical setting with frequent interaction across teams, vendors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in visitors, vendors, and suppliers in a professional and timely manner
- Manage front desk operations, including answering and directing incoming calls and emails
- Coordinate visitor access, badging, and ensure compliance with facility security protocols
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper documentation for all guests
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and support onsite meetings as needed
- Provide general administrative support to office staff and leadership
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and common areas
- Assist with ordering office supplies and managing inventory
- Support special projects and cross-functional administrative needs as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with visitor management or badging systems
- Experience supporting vendors, suppliers, or external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to support broader team operations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
