As a Senior Technical Recruiter — SG&A at Impulse, you will own full-cycle recruiting for the teams that power company operations, including Finance, People, Legal, Supply Chain, Business Operations, IT, and other corporate functions. You will partner closely with leadership to define hiring strategy, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver high-quality hires in a fast-moving hardware environment.

Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for SG&A roles, including Finance, HR/People, Legal, Supply Chain, Program Management, IT, and business operations functions
- Partner with hiring managers and executives to define role scope, hiring strategy, and candidate profiles aligned with company growth plans
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, and market mapping
- Drive efficient, high-quality hiring processes from intake through offer, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
- Advise leadership on talent market trends, compensation insights, and hiring risks
- Improve recruiting infrastructure, interview processes, and hiring workflows to support Impulse scaling
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including experience hiring SG&A or corporate functions
- Demonstrated success recruiting in fast-paced environments such as startups, aerospace, defense, or high-growth technology companies
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers
- Strong demonstrated sourcing and candidate assessment capabilities
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience recruiting SG&A within aerospace, defense, hardware, or deep-tech organizations
- Experience supporting scaling organizations (startup through growth stage)
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and organizational design discussions
- Experience improving recruiting processes or building recruiting infrastructure.
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
