As an AIT Technician, you’ll help build, inspect, integrate, and test the satellite systems that power ICEYE’s world-leading SAR constellation. Your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable Earth Observation capabilities that support governments, commercial customers, and mission-critical decision-making around the globe.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Inspect, rework, and verify PCBAs and electronic assemblies

  • Inspect and verify third-party subsystems and components

  • Assemble electromechanical satellite subsystems and harnesses

  • Perform inspection, assembly, verification, and testing activities for satellite subsystems

  • Build and maintain laboratory and satellite test setups

  • Support integration and testing activities on engineering model satellites

  • Raise non-conformance reports and support root cause analysis activities

  • Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and quality compliance across all activities

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to support satellite delivery milestones

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

  • Vocational or technical qualification in electronics, electrical, mechanical assembly, or equivalent hands-on training

  • Experience assembling, inspecting, or verifying electronic or electromechanical components

  • Hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail and quality

  • Experience using electronic and RF lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and thermal chambers

  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions

  • Comfortable using Jira and Confluence or similar documentation and workflow tools

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with IPC standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721, or IPC/WHMA-A-620

  • Experience working with ESA ECSS, NASA, or military quality standards

  • Awareness of 6S standards and lab organization best practices

  • Experience working in an R&D or aerospace laboratory environment

  • Familiarity with mechanical lab tools, precision measurement tools, or 3D printers

  • Hot work permit certification

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and process development
