Why this role matters:
As a Marketing & Communications Manager, Germany, you’ll define and execute ICEYE’s marketing and communications strategy for the German market. You will shape the local narrative, translate complex technologies into clear and compelling stories, and drive go-to-market execution to support growth.
This role is critical in building ICEYE’s visibility, credibility, and pipeline in Germany while ensuring alignment with global marketing strategy and brand standards. You will also act as the local lead for media, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
Define and own the Germany marketing and communications strategy aligned with global positioning
Translate complex technical and AI-driven solutions into clear value propositions for target audiences
Plan and execute go-to-market activities including launches, campaigns, and partner initiatives
Create high-quality content across formats including presentations, case studies, and thought leadership
Manage PR, media relations, and external agencies to build visibility and credibility in Germany
Plan and deliver events, trade shows, and customer engagements, including live demonstrations
Track performance metrics including pipeline contribution, leads, and engagement, and optimize accordingly
Ensure alignment with central marketing on brand, campaigns, approvals, and compliance requirements
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
Based in Berlin and able to represent ICEYE in local meetings and events
6+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in B2B technology or high-complexity sectors
Proven experience in go-to-market planning and execution
Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Experience managing agencies and external stakeholders
Data-driven mindset with experience tracking performance and demonstrating ROI
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and build processes from scratch
Nice to haves:
Experience in defence, space, geospatial, or related industries
Familiarity with public sector communications and procurement in Germany
Existing network within German media or industry associations
Understanding of compliance and export control considerations in dual-use technologies
