What will you do in this role?
ICEYE is seeking an experienced and dedicated Systems Engineer to work in our Delivery and Support team within Missions Business line. Role includes delivery, installation and maintenance of customers on-premise systems (i.e processing server, image storage appliances and related applications).
Daily tasks include participating in implementing, delivering, and maintaining ICEYE's on-premise products, as well as installing, integrating and configuring ICEYE systems in customer premises. You will also manage the response to and resolution of production incidents. You'll suggest process and product improvements to streamline delivery maintenance tasks, and work with customers to form a mutual understanding of their needs, capabilities, and constraints. Furthermore, you'll cooperate with customer technical teams and our vendors and contractors to ensure successful deployments.
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- Candidates need hands-on experience with on-premises hardware (servers, storage, switches, firewalls, cabling), VMWare virtualization, and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in networking troubleshooting and Linux system administration in production is required, along with proficiency in logging and monitoring solutions.
- A successful candidate will have an "Infrastructure as Code" mindset (or willingness to learn) and a strong emphasis on security.
- We expect experience with orchestration tools - e.g. Hashicorp Terraform and experience from Storage arrays administration
- This role demands quick understanding of technical and business aspects in a dynamic startup, strong English communication and social skills for customer and team interaction
- We expect readiness for a 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional global travel.

- Base salary range for this position is 4 800- 5 600€ per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
