Role Summary
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Sales leader to spearhead HyperVerge’s growth in Africa and MEA. This is a high-ownership role that blends enterprise hunting, key account growth, and partnership-led GTM. You’ll be responsible for defining the regional playbook, building strong ecosystem relationships, and converting high-potential opportunities into long-term business impact.
The ideal leader has a strong BFSI/fintech background, deep regional experience, and a track record of driving outcomes in emerging markets.
Key Outcomes
- Establish HyperVerge as a top-tier digital identity player across Africa and MEA.
- Build a robust partner ecosystem contributing to consistent lead generation.
- Strengthen our regional enterprise account base through repeat wins and cross-sell.
- Define and operationalize GTM strategy per sub-region (Nigeria, Kenya, Middle-East).
- Deliver structured pipeline visibility, account health, and forecast accuracy.
- Enable collaboration across sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure customer success.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end enterprise sales for HyperVerge’s Digital Identity product suite.
- Identify and close new logos while deepening relationships with key existing accounts.
- Lead Strategic Account Management initiatives — driving up-sell and cross-sell opportunities across key clients.
- Build and manage local partnerships and joint GTM efforts to accelerate deal origination.
- Represent HyperVerge in regional forums, fintech networks, and industry events.
- Lead account planning, quarterly reviews, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders for smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
- Mentor regional sales and BD team members aligned to the MEA charter.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in enterprise or SaaS sales, preferably in BFSI / fintech / identity tech domains.
- Proven track record in handling both hunting and strategic account management.
- Hands-on experience in Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, etc.); Middle-East exposure is a plus.
- Strong network within BFSI, fintechs, or technology integrators in the region.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally and remotely with global teams.
- Excellent CXO engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Travel frequently across Africa and the Middle East for customer meetings, ecosystem engagement, and market development.
