As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at HyperStart, you will design, develop, deploy and maintain the frontend and backend for HyperStart. Your responsibilities include ensuring successful consumption of HyperVerge technology by customers through the creation of Web Applications, APIs or SDKs.
Product Understanding:
- Interfacing with the customer, technology team members, project managers and other relevant product people for thorough understanding of the product, use case and business objective, detailed specification and data flow for the requirement, demonstration of the concept and clarification of queries.
Product Development:
- Designing, architecting and developing the frontend and backend primarily using the MERN stack.
- Preparing test cases, creating automated build and test processes, setting up systems for CI/CD, creating high quality developer documentation and monitoring for the products or platforms.
Customer Success:
- Ensuring seamless use of HyperStart frontend by clients or internal teams and successful integration of client systems with HyperStart backend and APIs wherever applicable.
- Seeking customer feedback to continuously optimize the product for great customer experience and high technical performance in areas such as hardware efficiency, latency and throughput.
Team Growth:
- Contributing to the growth of the Engineering team through proactive effort on knowledge growth, process improvements and performance enhancements on existing solutions.
PREREQUISITES:
- Skills Required - MongoDB, Node.js, Git, Continuous Integration, Express.js, MERN, Linux, Cloud
- 2-4 years of total experience; preferably in a product-based startup.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and Redux, with hands-on experience architecting and building web applications and user interfaces.
- Experience with converting UI/UX designs (e.g., from Figma or similar tools) into pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and workflows relevant to React development.
- Strong experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, etc.) and CI/CD automation for UI deployments.
- Familiarity with security best practices in web application development, including authentication, authorization, secure coding patterns, and protection against common vulnerabilities.
- Working knowledge of cryptography concepts and libraries (such as JWT, bcrypt, encryption/decryption methods, etc.) to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Experience in end to end product/ feature development.
- Experience in building scalable products will be an added advantage.
- Ability to explain the business reasons for developing the features and products.
- Good to have - Deep understanding of the business impact, value to customers, business processes and cross-functional skillsets
- Proven track record of being the primary contributor and tech owner of a critical feature
- Mentored junior developers to help them achieve their goals and growth
- Ability to communicate the overall team goals and business value to all in an articulate and inspiring manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication via phone, email and in-person meetings
