💼 What You'll Do
As a Legal Intern, you’ll work closely with our in-house legal team on a wide range of corporate, compliance, and tech law functions that drive and protect HyperVerge’s global operations. You’ll be expected to punch above your weight from Day 1.
Key Responsibilities:
🔍 Legal Research & Policy Awareness
- Conduct in-depth legal research on evolving areas like AI governance, data protection (GDPR, CCPA), intellectual property, and tech compliance.
- Track global regulatory developments affecting SaaS, fintech, and AI industries.
- Translate dense legal concepts into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
📄 Contract Lifecycle Management
- Assist in reviewing, redlining, and managing NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, partnership contracts, and more.
- Maintain an organized repository of all contractual documents, ensuring version control and timely renewals.
- Collaborate with business teams to enable frictionless, compliant deal-making.
✅ Compliance & Regulatory Readiness
- Work on internal compliance audits, risk assessments, and data privacy initiatives.
- Prepare filings and documentation related to licensing, corporate governance, and international business regulations.
- Help align internal processes with evolving laws like the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), GDPR, etc.
🧩 Special Projects & Legal Ops
- Support strategic legal initiatives that directly impact product, people, and partnerships.
- Handle internal documentation, reporting, and maintain knowledge bases.
- Take ownership of ad hoc legal and business ops assignments.
🎓 Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:
- Fourth or Final Year of BA.LLB/BBA.LLB/LLM from a reputed law school.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- A deep interest in technology law, corporate governance, and emerging compliance frameworks.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools and comfort with collaborative platforms (Google Suite, Notion, etc).
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior internships with corporate law firms or in-house legal departments.
- Exposure to technology contracts, data privacy frameworks, or intellectual property issues.
- Experience navigating startup, SaaS, or AI company environments is a plus.
