The role:

This is an opportunity to partner with a product-driven CEO to grow and scale a pioneering indoor mapping technology business.

Acting as the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will lead initiatives across a variety of business functions to help drive operational excellence and growth.

We are looking for a COO who can take the lead on establishing scalable processes in finance, legal, talent, go-to-market and other business infrastructure areas.

The successful candidate will also support the CEO in executing the strategic direction of HyperAR, helping set objectives and key results for growth alongside operational tasks.

What do we do

HyperAR has developed the most accurate indoor location technology in the world. Powered by AR, indoor maps, and navigation tech, our product brings physical spaces to life in a way that’s not been done before.

Our technology is already being deployed at one of the world’s largest retailers globally, powering new ways to find products while improving the retail experience.

Our mission is to bring this technology to other physical spaces (e.g. stores, airports, malls, campuses) where traditional mapping has failed to provide users with what they need.

COO key responsibilities

• Lead operations management, ensuring that the company runs smoothly.
• Oversee finance, legal, and talent management.
• Seek opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and productivity.
• Support business development, partnership, and go-to-market efforts.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and project management to deliver on customer outcomes and company objectives.
• Support fundraising initiatives and investor communications.
• Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

Ideal profile

• Previous startup experience as a COO, Co-founder, Chief of Staff or other senior role.
• Demonstrable experience managing and working with product and technology teams.
• Strong planning, execution, and coordination skills and experience.
• Ambitious generalist who can switch business function hats when required.
• Passionate about HyperAR’s technology and market opportunities.
