Job Description
Build the future of construction — one strategic decision at a time
Every day, Leica Geosystems’ machine control solutions guide excavators, motor graders, and dozers on job sites across more than 80 countries. Our technology shapes the roads people drive on, the tunnels they pass through, and the infrastructure that keeps cities moving. and that’s why your work truly matters here.
We are now looking for an experienced product management leader to take ownership of our Earthmoving Portfolio Strategy and help shape what comes next for one of the most important parts of our business.
THE ROLE
As Manager, Earthmoving Solutions, you will lead the strategic direction of our full Earthmoving portfolio — setting the frame for how we invest, grow, and innovate across product lines. You’ll guide a global team of Product Managers and Product Engineers, creating the conditions for them to do their best work while ensuring the portfolio remains commercially strong, coherent, and aligned with our business strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define and maintain the full portfolio strategy — segmentation, structure, investment logic, and prioritisation of initiatives.
- Ensure cross‑portfolio roadmap alignment and maintain a financial view of performance, margins, and lifecycle health.
- Guide Product Managers in building strong Product Line Strategies aligned with your overarching direction.
- Hold commercial responsibility for all in‑market products within the Earthmoving domain.
- Lead structured business cases for new opportunities and ensure excellence in product launches together with Sales and Marketing.
- Take commercial ownership of technology partnerships, including managing API and platform integration agreements.
- Evaluate new partner opportunities that strengthen our competitiveness.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competition, emerging technologies, and customer behaviour.
- Ensure insights are consistently shared across the organisation
- Lead, develop, and coach a high‑performing global team.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute actively to the Product Management leadership team.
WHAT WE OFFER
At Leica Geosystems, you’ll join a team working on technology that truly matters. We offer:
- A highly visible, strategically important leadership role.
- A talented, ambitious, diverse team.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- International travel (20–30%) to strengthen key partnerships
