The Position: Reporting to the Software Support team lead, this position will see you this position will see you lead a 24/7 customer care team who support our customer on production or operational matters of Hexagon's Technology at customer mine sites. this team are the conduit between our customer, and our software support engineers, guiding and assisting in the prioritisation and escalation of technical priorities. This role will see you guide and support the delivery of the customer care team in partnership with the Team lead on service delivery metrics, in addition to any activities related to the transition from projects to deployments for our team and customer.

Education/Credentials:
· A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering (Mining / Electrical / Electronic), or a related field
Experience / Skills / Attributes:
· Strong commitment to Customer Service Delivery
· Experience leading / managing a team of technical employees working on complex software systems
· Experience working with a global team of employees
· Experience in the support and management of remotely deployed complex software systems
· Knowledge of languages such as PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python
· Knowledge of C++ (or Objective-C) software development
· Commercial experience with complex SQL databases (PostGres, SQL Server)
· A strong understanding and knowledge of networking
· Experience with LINUX Command Line Interface
· Experience with MS Office tools (Word, Excel)
· Ability to form strong relationships with customers and represent the company professionally
· Strong time management and prioritisation skills
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
· Ability to work autonomously or part of a team environment
· Ability to see where systems and / or processes can be improved to benefit the end user
· Desire to expand own knowledge and skill set as well as sharing knowledge with other team members wherever possible
· Knowledge of mining operations (desirable)
Travel:
· Travel (interstate, intrastate and overseas) will be required in this role
