Responsibilities
The Position: Reporting to the APAC Financial Controller, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team based in Hendra Brisbane, QLD. In this role you will join a global team supporting our Mining Business area for the APAC region, where your focus will be to helps maintain strong supplier relationships, supports cash‑flow management, and ensures the integrity of financial records.
In addition but not limited to the following responsibilities.
- Maintenance of financial records in SAP and hardcopy financial files
- Maintenance and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts to ensure integrity of SAP data
- Preparation for and participation in internal and external audits and stock-takes as required
- Cross-training with Assistant Accountant / Accounts Receivable to ensure adequate coverage of finance functions

Qualifications
About You
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who is ready for the next step in their career, where your knowledge, skills, experience and passion can be brought to the forefront of your role.
In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes.
- Bachelor or Tertiary qualified in accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
- Experience with computerised accounting systems (SAP would be desirable) and electronic
- banking software
- Experience with online expense management tool (Certify would be desirable)
- Ability to work high volume in a multi divisional stakeholder group
- Proven success in collaborating in a customer centric, solution focused engagement
- Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
