The Position: Reporting to the General Manager ANZ, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join us based in Perth, Western Australia. lead sales growth and development of the strategic customer partnership for Hexagon’s underground mining technology portfolio within the ANZ region.
This role focuses on identifying and maturing business opportunities, positioning Hexagon’s underground solutions, and supporting customers in improving safety, productivity, and operational efficiency in underground mining environments
In this role you will lead commercial outcomes, shape regional market penetration strategies, and ensure strong alignment between customers, operations, and Hexagon’s product teams
The Senior BDM will be responsible for;
- Identifying new business opportunities for Hexagon within region through proactive lead generation and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
- Develop strategic business plans for the underground market in ANZ
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging deep industry knowledge and expertise to recognize business problems and bridge the gap to offer innovative solutions
- Engage and coordinate regional and global experts to provide best practices, insights, and support that maximize the value customers derive from Hexagon solutions.

About you
If you are an experienced Senior Sales, Business Development Leader with a proven successful background in the mining sector, we would like to connect. This opportunity provides a career defining pathway joining Hexagon at a pivotal time of exciting growth.
In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes.
- Tertiary qualified in business, Mining Engineering or Geology or a related field relative to industry
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding growth metrics or targets
- Proven record within relative sector in mining production, ideally in underground and or/dealing with technical product or solution of such industry.
- Prior experience working across cultures and region in generating business growth
- Customer focused, solution orientated and a proactive problem solver
- Considerable commercial experience in the mining industry – highly desirable
- Ability to be agile and future focused to grow trust and long-term relations.
- Valid Australian working rights: Permanent resident or Australian Citizen
- Travel: this position may require frequent domestic travel.
