ROLE SUMMARY
Aura Reality is seeking a Partnerships & Clinical Director to build and lead our global partnership and clinical validation strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Commercial Strategy, this role is critical to strengthening Aura’s scientific credibility and commercial adoption through high-impact collaborations with industry leaders.
We are looking for a "Clinical Evangelist", a strategic professional who bridges the gap between scientific rigor and business growth. You will be responsible for translating complex clinical evidence into compelling commercial narratives that drive engagement with global stakeholders. This is a high-impact role for an individual with a "closer" mindset, capable of turning abstract technical discussions into concrete, signed agreements and long-term strategic alliances. This is a role for a connector and credibility builder — someone who understands science, speaks the language of industry partners, and translates validation into business impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Alliances & Business Impact
- Identify and nurture relationships with global strategic partners in the aesthetics, pharma, and skincare sectors.
- Lead the end-to-end partnership cycle, from initial engagement and pilot programs to contract signature, ensuring a proactive and result-oriented approach.
- Transform scientific validation into tangible commercial opportunities and long-term industry relevance.
2. Lead Clinical Studies & Validation Programs
- Map, contract, and oversee 2–3 clinical or validation studies annually in partnership with premier clinics or global industry brands.
- Manage the entire study lifecycle, including design, timelines, reporting, and results analysis.
- Ensure constant internal alignment with R&D, Marketing, and Product teams to guarantee that study outputs directly influence the product roadmap and sales enablement tools.
3. Commercial Storytelling & Scientific Advocacy
- Translate complex clinical findings into powerful commercial narratives to convince external stakeholders and high-level decision-makers.
- Act as the clinical face of Aura at global congresses (e.g., IMCAS, AMWC) and high-level partner meetings, demonstrating how our technology validates efficacy for skincare and injectable treatments.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop science-backed sales tools that clearly articulate Aura's ROI to the market.
4. Clinical Pipeline & KOL Management
- Design and oversee Aura’s clinical study roadmap to strengthen brand credibility and trust.
- Manage a global network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and partner clinics to ensure data collection serves both scientific integrity and commercial needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 8–12+ years of experience in medical aesthetics, healthtech, medtech, skincare, pharma-aesthetics, or medical devices
• Commercial Track Record: A demonstrable ability to close complex, long-cycle partnerships with large-scale, global organizations.
Proven experience managing clinical studies, validation programs, or scientific partnerships
• Strong track record in industry partnerships, alliances, or strategic collaborations
• Ability to bridge clinical science, technology, and commercial strategy
• Comfortable engaging with clinics, KOLs, global brands, and OEM partners
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Storytelling & Public Speaking: Exceptional ability to translate "bench science" into a clear "business case" through sophisticated storytelling. Proven experience as a public speaker, capable of commanding a stage at international congresses and influencing senior decision-makers.
Entrepreneurial Spirit & Self-Starter: A high degree of autonomy and a "founder's mindset." You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking initiative without a predefined playbook, and building processes from the ground up in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
