We are looking for a high-energy intern to take a specialized robot arm project from concept to verification. You won't just be shadowing; you’ll be building a critical manipulation component for our humanoid robot, Aeon.
Your Mission
- Mechanical Design: Develop a 3D CAD model of a robotic arm optimized for the torque and form factor of our unique actuator.
- Integration: Adapt the arm’s mounting and communication interfaces to integrate with Aeon robot.
- Prototyping: Select materials and oversee the assembly of the arm, ensuring wire management and structural integrity.
- Validation: Develop and execute a test script to verify DOF (Degrees of Freedom) range, payload capacity, and precision.
Your Skillset
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD, ideally NX
- Hands-on skill to assemble and test actuator and actuator controllers
- Good communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
