Mechatronics Engineering Intern (f/m/d)

The first humanoid product, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and combines agility, awareness, spatial intelligence and versatility to provide a market-leading solution for automotive, transportation, aerospace, manufacturing, and logistics customers.

We are looking for a high-energy intern to take a specialized robot arm project from concept to verification. You won't just be shadowing; you’ll be building a critical manipulation component for our humanoid robot, Aeon.

Your Mission

• Mechanical Design: Develop a 3D CAD model of a robotic arm optimized for the torque and form factor of our unique actuator.
• Integration: Adapt the arm’s mounting and communication interfaces to integrate with Aeon robot.
• Prototyping: Select materials and oversee the assembly of the arm, ensuring wire management and structural integrity.
• Validation: Develop and execute a test script to verify DOF (Degrees of Freedom) range, payload capacity, and precision.

Your Skillset

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD, ideally NX
• Hands-on skill to assemble and test actuator and actuator controllers
• Good communication skills in English
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
