The Position: Reporting to the Senior Director, Emerging Markets, we are seeking an Business Development Manager -Northern APAC based in Kazakhstan. This role will see you join our APAC sales team, in a position pivotal to our strategic growth. You will become a trusted partner of our customers, providing technological solutions meeting the demands of safety, continuous improvement and production efficiencies.
In addition to delivering overall commercial success of the region, the Business Development Manager will be expected to;
- Identify new business opportunities for Hexagon within region through proactive lead generation and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
- Develop and execute solid business plans in alignment with overall companies’ strategic objectives
- Collaborate closely with customers to align their future needs with Hexagon's solution roadmaps, ensuring continuous value realization and optimization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging deep industry knowledge and expertise to recognize business problems and bridge the gap to offer innovative solutions
- Engage and coordinate regional and global experts to provide best practices, insights, and support that maximize the value customers derive from Hexagon solutions.

About you
If you are an experienced Sales, Business Development Leader with a successful background in the mining sector, ideally in OT technology, this may be for you? Will 2026 offer a fresh new change?
In addition we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes;
- Background in Mining Operational Technologies, ideally in production OT environments with a navigation to sales
- Tertiary qualified in business marketing or a related field relative to industry
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding growth metrics or targets
- Prior experience working across cultures and region in generating business growth
- Customer focused, solution orientated and a proactive problem solver
- Ability to build cohesive relations to listen and navigate complex sales campaigns
- Ability to be agile and future focused to grow trust and long-term relations.
