Position Summary
As the Vice President of Sales, you will provide visionary leadership for AGTEK’s sales organization, spearheading strategies that drive revenue, expand our market footprint, and cultivate a results-driven team. This senior leader will oversee all aspects of sales in North America and play a pivotal role in shaping our global sales approach, working cross-functionally to ensure that sales efforts are fully aligned with AGTEK’s overall objectives.

Your ability to mentor and elevate our existing sales team, as well as identify and develop new sales channels, will be crucial to exceeding ambitious revenue targets and advancing both team and personal growth. You will manage the creation and progression of a robust sales pipeline, ensure the highest standards in opportunity management, and take responsibility for guiding deals through every stage of the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead the direct sales channel in North America to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Design and implement sales and marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with target objectives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report sales metrics to the President and Leadership team.
- Drive sales efforts by mastering AGTEK’s solutions, delivering presentations and product demonstrations, preparing business proposals and quotes, representing AGTEK’s value proposition, negotiating terms and contracts, and successfully closing sales.
- Lead both direct and channel sales initiatives, including territory management, partner development, and account growth.
- Supervise lead generation and pipeline management within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance and President to develop financial models and programs that support revenue growth and increase recurring revenue streams.
- Lead, mentor, manage and expand the sales team
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and daily operations of team.
- Represent sales and the voice of the customer within the AGTEK leadership group.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in new market segments, such as paving, utility contractors, renewables and international territories.
- Represent AGTEK at key industry events, trade shows, and strategic forums.
- Evaluate and develop relationships with new distribution channels and potential channel partners.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and promote long-term loyalty.
- Oversee strategic account planning and lead customer success initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and analyze data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Support internal initiatives such as database improvements, reporting enhancements, training support etc.
- Work closely with marketing, R&D, technical support, and product management to align sales efforts with product development, customer needs and campaign execution.
- Support internal business process improvements including business systems, reporting, AI integration, training and customer success initiatives.

Qualifications
- Sales leadership experience in construction technology or software industries
- Over 10 years’ success in solution selling and leading teams with proven methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of the construction sector
- Strategic, analytical, and strong communicator
- Capable of managing distributed teams and complex sales cycles
- Skilled at presenting to C-level management, with excellent oral and written communication
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proven CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
- Willing to travel
