We are looking for a Test Engineer who is detail-oriented, creative, and driven. Your Mission
- Develop and execute test plans for hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of the humanoid robot
- Design and implement automated and manual testing frameworks for robotic systems, including sensors, actuators, and AI algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, and AI engineers) to identify potential issues and ensure seamless integration of components
- Analyze system performance data and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and propose actionable solutions
- Simulate real-world scenarios to test the robot’s functionality, durability, and adaptability in various environments
- Document test results and generate comprehensive reports, providing clear feedback to the development team.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies to align with industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for humanoid robotics.
Your Skillset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in hardware and/or software testing (experience testing robotic or mechatronics systems is a big plus).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, and Jira is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with with ROS and CI/CD integration for embedded software is desired.
- Familiarity with testing sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, or embedded systems. Hands-on experience with robotic hardware is a big plus.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, or computer vision systems and their testing requirements is a bonus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- A meticulous approach to testing, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A genuine interest in humanoid robotics and a drive to contribute to the advancement of this exciting field.
- Proficiency in English is a must; German is a plus.
