Role description and overall responsibility
As our new Quality Engineer, you will play an important role in safeguarding product integrity and ensuring compliance with key regulations and industry standards such as the RED Directive. Your work will directly influence product safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction, helping us maintain the high standards our customers rely on.

You will be part of a small, dedicated team of three professionals (including you), working closely with the Project Support Manager. This setup offers a unique opportunity to make a visible impact while enjoying a balance of independent work, project collaboration, and cross-functional support.

The role includes occasional travel to suppliers, partners, or other company locations (approximately 10-15 days per year) to support quality and compliance efforts across our global operations.

Additionally, your tasks cover:

  • Ensure compliance with substance regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS) and other relevant directives, such as the RED Directive.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance topics.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Product Management, and R&D, in quality and compliance-related matters.
  • Work on quality-related tasks in projects to improve processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external partners and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address cybersecurity requirements and ensure product security aligns with industry standards.


Your profile

  • A degree in Engineering or a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-15 days per year.
  • Strong understanding of substance compliance regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS).
  • Familiarity with regulatory directives such as the RED Directive.

Additionally, it would be an advantage if you possess:
+ Knowledge or experience with cybersecurity requirements and standards
+ Familiarity with the automotive industry
