Summary

The Sales Operations Analyst is a critical analytical role responsible for driving data-driven decision making and operational excellence across the sales organization. This position requires a unique blend of analytical expertise, systems proficiency, and deep understanding of sales operations to perform detailed analysis of sales activities, financial performance, customer and product mix, and business intelligence that delivers fact-based recommendations to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will serve as the dedicated point of contact for sales leadership on commission calculations, ensure accurate and timely delivery of commission data to payroll, and maintain comprehensive reporting systems while tracking sales KPIs in Salesforce and facilitating clear communication during month-end commission reviews to support revenue growth and strategic business decisions. This is a hybrid role requiring three days of in-office presence per week in Alpharetta, GA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing sales processes for sales teams, specialists and others
  • Serve as primary point of contact for commission-related questions and issue resolution
  • Track sales KPIs in Salesforce and ensure accurate, timely delivery of commission data to payroll
  • Generate comprehensive commission reporting and facilitate month-start commission reviews
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and finance on quota setting, territory design, and commission plan development
  • Generate reports and analysis on sales performance metrics using data extraction and visualization tools
  • Develop analytical reports from multiple systems to identify trends, patterns, and data anomalies for internal and external partners
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, implement process improvements, and develop automation solutions

Desired Skills

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations/Management
  • Proven track record of supporting sales teams and driving process improvements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional and international collaboration
  • Experience with sales tech stack management, particularly Salesforce
  • Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience with sales analytics tools
  • Experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
  • Understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and conversion metrics
  • Experience with quota setting, and compensation analysis
