Job Description

As the Identities and Messaging (IAM) Manager EMEA at Hexagon Corporate IT, you will lead a geographically distributed team of approximately seven talented professionals within the Identities & Messaging domain. You will play a strategic and hands-on role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure identity and messaging infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.

This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for optimizing processes and delivering secure, scalable IAM solutions. You’ll focus on Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and related security components to support the organization’s growth, compliance, and operational resilience across the EMEA region.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a regional team of IAM and messaging professionals, providing mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction.
  • Design, implement, and operate identity infrastructure across hybrid environments — focusing on Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory Domain Services.
  • Deliver IAM-related projects across EMEA, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously improve and optimize IAM processes to increase operational efficiency, reliability, and security posture.
  • Collaborate with global IT and security teams to align regional identity and messaging strategies with global standards.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IAM and messaging security to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex identity and messaging issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal business impact.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience or a mix of certifications and training may be considered.
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • MS-203: Microsoft 365 Messaging Administrator Associate
    • SC-300: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
    • MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
    • SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
Technical Skills & Tools
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory (Kerberos, LDAP, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, etc.).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 E5 Security, and related security capabilities.
  • Strong grasp of IAM standards and technologies: SSO (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2), SCIM, Conditional Access, MFA, App Registrations, etc.
  • Proficient in Exchange Online, Defender for Office 365, email security standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and mail flow.
  • Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience with a strong focus on IAM systems.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing IAM operations or transformation projects across multiple regions.
