What's the role?

The Team

In our Global Business HR team, we provide HR business partnering and consultation to critical Business Units and Functional leaders across the globe, along with the design, delivery and implementation of performance and talent programs to drive the HERE People Agenda. Upholding HERE’s cultural values such as Winning Together, Learning Fast, Being True, we collaborate with other HR disciplines to ensure that the needs of our senior leaders and their organizations are met.

The role

In this key business partner role based in The Netherlands, you will create and execute the People Agenda in collaboration with our senior leaders at HERE Technologies’ HQ. You will work directly with a Management Team (C-Level) member of a Business Unit (COO/CFO in this instance) and its respective leaders, providing your expertise and guidance in organizational capability and performance, workforce planning, culture and change management, leadership coaching and development, talent assessment, and succession planning. The role is an individual contributor where you to report to the Global Head of HR Business Partners.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Partnering with leadership team to define strategic people agenda to successfully execute our business strategies.
  • Serving as a strategic business advisor on key organizational, cultural and leadership initiatives by coaching on behaviors and practices, employee communication and engagement, development, performance management, and promoting a learning culture of continuous growth.
  • Creating and executing an inclusive approach to talent management focused on forecasting, assessment, on-boarding, development, performance management, career/succession planning, talent mobility and retention, leveraging workforce analytics and insight.
  • Implementing new organization structures, roles and/or processes that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Leading projects and maintaining strong partnerships with HR Center of Excellence (COEs) teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Leadership and Development, PMO, HR Operations) and other support teams (e.g.Finance)

Designing and facilitating executive and large group work sessions focused on strategy development, team building, leading culture and collaborative problem-solving

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you will need a people-centric mindset, embracing a collaborative and empathetic approach. You thrive on building strong relationships, demonstrating emotional intelligence, and fostering a culture of trust and inclusivity. Your ability to navigate complex challenges with a positive, solution-oriented attitude will be key to driving impactful results.

  • 10-15+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, or equivalent, with specific experience in people strategy development, organizational design, talent management and change management in an international, fast-paced, high change business environment.
  • At least 5 years of team building and leadership experience.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and experience in developing consultative relationships with business leaders, including the ability to influence decision-makers to think strategically and critically.
  • Proven ability to proactively translate changing business objectives to effective HR strategies.
  • Experience using data to tell a talent story and strong presentation skills to effectively deliver training to all levels of employees.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • A keen eye for talent and talent attractors/retainers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global network and build the necessary rapport and relationships to be successful.
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree with emphasis Human Resource Management, Organization Development or Business preferred.
  • Solid understanding of international employment law.
  • You are open to occasional international travel, spend an average of 2 days per week working in the Amsterdam office, and have the flexibility to engage with our large community in Eindhoven.
