About the Opportunity
The Senior Project Manager Production, Distribution Centers & Facilities will be joining the growing development team focusing on building Wonder’s distribution centers, offices, and special projects. This position reports to the Head of Facilities, based out of our Parsippany, NJ office with expected regional travel. Joining us means joining a team with specialists in acquisitions, legal, operations, and finance. Our team works hard, supports each other, shares ideas to improve, and consistently delivers results.

The Impact You Will Make
● Project execution from due diligence of potential sites to design, through construction execution, and transition to operations
● Directly manage multiple projects at once ranging in size from 10,000 SF to 200,000 SF
● Travel, including overnight, to job sites as required to the market of your responsibility
● Manage the adherence to the budget, timeline, and processes of the project lifecycle
● Ensure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans, communicate progress and challenges with stakeholders through reports and meetings
● Collaborate and direct architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other specialists
● Hold vendors and contractors accountable to SLAs for schedule, quality, and safety
● Evaluate vendor performance and drive corrective action when required
● Manage project design and implementation with internal stakeholders including Production, Logistics, Engineering, Facilities, IT, FSQA, Health, Safety, Procurement, Culinary, and all others to ensure they meet their deadlines for the project
● Ensure all projects meet food safety, sanitation, and production environment standards in coordination with FSQA
● Drive internal cross collaboration with subject matter experts for fast decision making and project execution
● Standardize project execution processes across all sites to ensure consistency and scalability
● Capture and implement lessons learned to improve future rollout efficiency
● Write and submit inspection logs and punch lists while ensuring all local, state, and national building codes and regulations are followed
● Negotiate contracts with external vendors, review proposals and invoices
● Track and manage budget vs. actuals, including change order control and cost variance mitigation
● Ensure projects are delivered within approved capital budgets
● Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met; evaluate and hire vendors and allocate responsibilities
● Plan and execute construction activities to minimize disruption to live operations and production environments
● Identify schedule risks early and implement recovery plans to maintain project timelines
● Drive accelerated schedules where required to meet business needs
● Collaborate cross functionally with facilities team for warranty and or day 2 problem solving through normalization period of restaurant
● Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
● Manage the transition to operations phase of the project after construction completion including service contract set-ups restaurant set ups and operations training on store systems
● Ensure all installed equipment and assets are properly tagged, commissioned, and integrated into Service Channel
● Coordinate with Facilities to ensure PM programs, warranty tracking, and service contracts are in place at turnover
● Oversee equipment startup, commissioning, and validation to ensure systems are fully operational prior to handoff
● Ensure OEM startup, calibration, and performance validation for critical production equipment

What You Bring to the Table
● Construction project management, multi-site, program management, experience with production facilities, cold storage and industrial kitchens
● Experience managing multi-site rollout programs
● Managing a team of external vendors, suppliers, internal team members and stakeholders
● Providing live on-site field direction and or supervision
● Negotiating agreements with 3rd parties including suppliers and sub-contractors
● Ability to review submittals, invoices, and proposals from 3rd parties
● Reading and understanding of construction drawings
● Creating reports and summarizing critical action items to internal team
● Experience hitting time-sensitive deadlines and budgets
● Familiarity with CMMS / asset lifecycle integration (Service Channel preferred)

New Jersey: $149,000-165,500 per year

Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
