We are looking for a Systems Administrator II who has experience in networking and system administration. Our team is responsible for maintaining the current systems and network infrastructure supporting our existing multi-site topology, and is involved in our expansion to new locations and cloud providers. We deliver excellent customer service, outstanding employee experience and leading edge technology solutions for approximately 7,000 users across multiple office locations.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Install and configure server software and hardware

  • Manage network servers and technology tools

  • Set up accounts and workstations

  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

  • Troubleshoot issues and outages

  • Ensure security and business continuity through access controls, backups and security management

  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models

  • Manage an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative activities to maintain infrastructure systems: cloud infrastructure, cloud applications, hyper-converged, server platforms and infrastructure security.

  • Interact with employees to understand the way they perform work, and seek creative ways to improve our workflows with technology.

  • Work with members in various offices to ensure that systems, infrastructure and applications are managed efficiently

  • Contribute to improving internal tools to make maintaining production services easier, safer and more robust.

  • Work with the team to identify opportunities to improve processes and engineering models

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years managing infrastructure systems in a corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2019-2022 (including core installations) in an Enterprise environment.

  • Experience with various Linux distributions (CentOS and Ubuntu preferred).

  • Ability to create PowerShell and other scripts to improve management.

  • Technical writing, documentation, clear communication skills

  • Virtualization concepts, and storage technologies that often support it (VMware, AHV, vMotion, NetApp and Dell EMC).

  • Knowledge of Network protocols and routing and troubleshooting utilizing various capture and analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of wireless technologies, spectrum analysis, encryption, and authentication.

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPSec VPN tunnel configuration and troubleshooting (IKE1/IKE2), SNMP.

  • Understanding of distributed systems.

  • Track record of sound judgment, problem-solving, decision making, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization, from peers to management and executives.

  • Experience working with virtual/remote staff members.
