The Team

Our Insights team is a multidisciplinary group that includes product, design, engineering, and data science. Together, we are responsible for the full cycle of product development, from ideation and research to prototyping, user testing, and product launches. We build products people love by solving real-world problems with user-centered solutions.

Our main office is in Oslo, and we work in a hybrid model where we collaborate in person three days a week.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Designer to join the Insights team. You will be involved in all stages of the product design process, working closely with stakeholders to design, prototype, and implement user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full product design cycle: ideation, research, prototyping, user testing, and implementation.
• Empathize with users to translate user needs and business goals into high-quality visual and interaction designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure designs are user-centered and aligned with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Continuously iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and market insights.
• Contribute to design systems and maintain design consistency across the product to ensure consistency and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing SaaS products for web and mobile applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, user-centered designs.
• Proficiency in interaction design and visual design principles, including accessibility and usability best practices.
• Experience with design tools like Figma and prototyping tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.

Bonus If You Have:

• Familiarity with front-end development or the software development process.
• Experience in a startup environment or working with agile teams.
• Interest or experience with geospatial data or data visualization.
