Get to Know the Team
The Grab Support team supports Grab's Partners, including drivers, passengers, and merchants, in using our products. The team is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service for our drivers, passengers, and merchant partners. As a Senior Product Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with experts in technology, analytics, and business operations to drive the vision and growth of our platform.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst with great analytical skills to help product teams be more data-driven and objective and guide the design of controlled experiments. You will work closely with different teams within a business line (Product, Business, Engineering, Design and Data Science) to understand data requirements, identify key metrics, and provide data-driven insights. You will also work with stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of new business/product ideas and provide appropriate recommendations.
You will report to the Product Analytics Manager, and work onsite at the Grab Singapore One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Dive deep into data to align with business objectives, recommending novel, data-driven solutions, including AI/ML strategies, to address key customer challenges.
- Define, track, and measure critical business metrics. Develop analytical frameworks and sophisticated models to examine product configurations and validate hypotheses.
- Design, implement, and analyze rigorous A/B tests and experiments to guide product decisions, ensuring findings lead to clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Proactively define and monitor key metrics, performing root cause analysis on metric shifts or anomalies to quickly deliver actionable insights.
- Transform complex data into concise, high-quality insights via reports and dashboards for executive decision-making, and contribute to data pipeline and custom data science model development.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have at least 4 years of experience in data-related or quantitative fields such as Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- You are fluent with SQL, Python, R or other scripting/programming languages.
- You are experienced in handling large datasets and maintaining complex Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
- You have solid statistical knowledge and hands-on experience running and analysing controlled experiments.
- You are proficient in creating dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI or other visualisation tools.
