Job Description
Get to Know the Team
The Intern, Public Affairs will ensure operational excellence through comprehensive support to the Public Affairs and Country Head Offices, you will also serve as a junior analyst—monitoring media sentiment, researching public policy, drafting stakeholder briefs, and shadowing the Country Head during key engagements. This role is designed to take you beyond simple coordination, fostering partnerships with governments and community stakeholders, engaging with media, offering a front-row seat to how Grab navigates the intersection of business, government, and social impact.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Secretarial support: Manage scheduling, meetings, and appointments for the Public Affairs and Country Head Office.
- Content Development: Draft and translate press releases, speeches, articles, and social media contents as required (Khmer/English).
- Research & Analysis: Monitoring media, government stakeholders' public announcement, policy and regulations, tracking political and policy developments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Supporting outreach to media, government officials, and partners.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Education: Bachelor's student (or recent graduate) in Political Science, Public Policy, Legal, Communications, International Relations, Economics, or Journalism.
- Skills: Media monitoring, social media management, research ability
- Experience: Prior internships in public affairs, PR, or corporate communications but not always required.
- Mindset: proactive, organized
