Get to Know the Team
We are a team of product designers with focus on revolutionizing the dining experience for our eaters and building relationship between them and businesses across Southeast Asia. For merchants, we aim to leverage innovative technologies to empower and enable them to thrive in this competitive landscape. That said, we roll up to a larger design family of content designers, UX engineers, and Design Ops. About 150 people in total!
Get to Know the Role
As a Senior Product Designer on the Omnicommerce team, you will own Product Design outcomes, practice and quality for a cross-functional Problem Space Team in Dine In and Loyalty experiences for the Grab consumer super app and enterprise/merchant facing interfaces, with influence on adjacent teams. You will report to Designer Manager and work full-time onsite at the Grab Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Lead product design outcomes in your problem space team, and solving problems with the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment in designing experiences that balance business goals and user-centric design.
- Communicate rationales, processes, and standards compellingly to stakeholders.
- Own the discovery and delivery of solutions within the problem space team.
- Apply design-thinking frameworks and user-centered principles to guide problem space exploration.
- Design impactful product experiences and features, and create end-to-end flows for complex user experiences.
- Contribute to the design system by documenting new components and enhancements.
- Leverage prototyping to refine and deliver seamless, delightful user experiences.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
Pre-requisite Requirement: Provide your design portfolio (at least 2 completed case studies in English for the past 2 years) that showcases your contributions, the impact of your projects, and provides clear context. Highlight your end-to-end workflow, detailing how you move from problem discovery to launch.
- 4+ years of Product Design experience.
- Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
- Solid fundamentals in interaction and visual design craft and practice.
- Solid knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
- Experience with Figma, Protopie, After Effects, or other design tooling.
- AI fluency: Curious and adept at leveraging AI in your design process, and first experiences with vibe coding (e.g., Cursor, Replit, Lovable)
