Get to Know the Team

The Jabo Strategy and Planning team is the think tank and in-house strategy overseeing overall P&L and improving growth across all verticals businesses including mobility and delivery vertical. We help realize Grab's vision of becoming Southeast Asia's superapp by delivering essential everyday services that resonate with consumers in Indonesia. Our main focus is on developing executable business strategies that align with our mission of serving the community.

Get to Know the Role

S&P Head of Mobility will help Grab increase market share and drive growth in Mobility, both in GrabBike and GrabCar. You will play an essential part in developing strategy architecture that can help grow Grab's mobility business, managing mobility's P&L in Jabodetabek (both topline and bottomline), report and liaise to senior leadership. This includes creating efficient demand generation strategy, programs to support lower Cost to Serve, and problem-solving any bottlenecks or operational problems more agilely and much faster than our competitors.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Lead the strategy development for Jabo mobility; for example, developing strategy baseline, structuring and helping with issue identification and root cause analysis, solutioning/developing value creation analysis, advising on the practicalities of implementation or leading actual execution.
  • Lead a big team in planning and executing key strategic mobility projects that are needle movers and significant to Mobility business growth.
  • Own Jabo Mobility P&L including ensuring achievement of topline and bottomline targets for mobility including annual budget, quarterly and monthly forecast.
  • Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders that are pivotal in the successful execution of Jabo mobility strategy, including new product or feature launches / developments.
  • Provide regular and insightful analytical reports of performances, including initiatives (pre and post) that are being done to help boost topline performance.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Min. Bachelor's/Masters degree in MBA, Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields
  • Min. 5 years experience in similar role
    • Experience in business, strategy and/or consulting; Experience managing clients and presenting to senior leadership of the company / the clients.
    • Experience using SQL
  • Passionate about solving problems – the need for investigation and data exploration.
  • Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
  • Understand financial knowledge (budgeting, forecasting, & financial structure)
