Get to Know the Team

The Tech Governance team is important for maintaining governance across Grab's Tech personnel, processes and systems. We focus on implementing policies and controls while safeguarding company assets against risks. Our team excels at collaboration with multiple business stakeholders to enhance governance and improve technology operations through innovative solutions.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Tech Governance Program Manager to join our team. You will be reporting to the Head of Tech Governance & PMO, and you will work with the other Governance, Risk Management and Compliance functions. You will improve Grab Tech's proactive governance programs — ensuring compliance, scalable control design, and cross-functional alignment.

This role is based onsite in our Singapore One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Maintain our technology governance framework, including guidelines.
  • Lead the identification and assessment of technology risks and defining controls to mitigate these risks.
  • Define product specifications for controls that need to be implemented into systems and work with Tech Teams to systematically enforce these controls
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of governance controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Be the control owners for technology controls and will be the main audit subjects for SOX audits and regulatory inspections
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to integrate governance best practices into all technology projects and operations.
  • Oversee technology audits, working with internal and external auditors.
  • Provide guidance and training on technology governance to staff across the organization.
  • Stay informed of latest technology trends and regulatory changes to adjust governance strategies.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience IT governance, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in audit, internal controls, or SOX advisory.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working navigating through complexity where autonomy and self-decision-making is needed (to an extent) and able to juggle between different projects/tasks.
