Get to know the Role
As the Assistant Manager for GrabMart and GrabExpress Strategy, you will be the strategic owner for these critical delivery verticals. You are not just an analyst; you are a business leader responsible for diagnosing complex problems, formulating scannable growth strategies, and project managing them from whiteboard to reality. You will be at the forefront of building the nation's digital infrastructure for on-demand delivery, creating new economic opportunities for local entrepreneurs and bringing a new level of convenience to the daily lives of millions.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Develop & Champion Strategy: Design, build business cases for, and implement end-to-end strategies to accelerate the growth of GrabMart and GrabExpress, covering everything from formulating demand generation initiatives to user, merchant acquisition strategy and driving operational excellence.
Performance Deep Dives: Go beyond surface-level dashboards. You will own the performance metrics for your verticals, conducting deep-dive analyses to understand trends, identify root causes of issues, and propose data-backed corrective actions.
Generate Actionable Insights: Synthesize quantitative data (e.g., user funnels, basket analysis) and qualitative feedback to provide actionable insights that will guide product enhancements, marketing campaigns, and operational improvements.
Drive Execution (PMO): Act as the project lead for key strategic initiatives. This means convincing senior stakeholders to get buy-in, managing contributions from different teams, setting expectations, and ensuring flawless execution within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
The Must Haves
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, or a similar analytical and commercial role within the tech or F&B industry.
Prior team management experiences
You excel at breaking down complex problems into structured, manageable components and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders. You are a strong communicator who can articulate your ideas and build consensus.
A proactive and resourceful self-starter who can take a project from idea to impact with minimal supervision.
