Get to know the Role
Reporting to the Head of Technical Program Management, you will be an individual contributor managing a portfolio of complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish across different topics focusing on how Grab serves businesses across SEA. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and update cross-functional partners across the company. As a TPM, you will be the bridge between different Engineering teams and with business teams, by working with people from all parts of Grab's online and offline/operational teams to deliver new features to market that impact the lives of millions of passengers, drivers and merchants every day.
This role is based onsite in our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will manage manage project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, identify risks and resolve impediments
- You will work with cross functional teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Analysts and QA to ensure successful program delivery.
- You will be the interface for complex programs that span across multiple engineering organizations
- You will coach teams on various delivery frameworks and methodologies best suited to their execution needs
- You will drive roadmap planning and prioritization processes
- You will continuously find ways to help teams and the organization improve how it delivers.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of technical program management experience, with more than 5 years managing complex Agile software projects
- Background in project delivery and technical leadership.
- Understand and usage of Gen AI tools with experiences is a plus.
- Prior experience in software development processes and the ability to oversee technical projects
- Visionary mindset, able to anticipate future trends and adapting program strategies.
