Get to Know the Role
As the Lead Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex technical projects that span across teams, supporting Grab's growth in the tech landscape. You will report to the Senior Technical Program Management Leader and work onsite at Grab's office in One-North.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will create and manage program plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resources for large-scale technical projects.
- You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration across engineering, product, design, and business units.
- You will assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- You will drive roadmap planning and prioritization to align projects with organizational goals.
- You will establish Agile methodologies across teams to optimize efficiency.
- You will act as a key contact for senior leadership, providing program updates and performance metrics.
- You will mentor junior program managers to support skill and career development.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Program Management Expertise: Over seven years of technical program management experience, with five or more years managing complex Agile software projects.
- Software Development Knowledge: Understanding of software development processes to effectively oversee projects and work with technical teams.
- Agile Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and experience implementing Agile frameworks to guide teams effectively.
- Risk Management Abilities: Capacity to identify, mitigate, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align strategic goals.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and make data-driven decisions to ensure project success.
- Tool Expertise: Experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence to streamline workflows and track project progress.
- Strategic Planning: Capability to develop planning frameworks and roadmaps for long-term success.
- Organizational Skills: Competence in managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining momentum.
