Get to Know the Role

Head, Corporate Security (ID), is responsible for overseeing all security operations within country. This role also includes leading a functional COE responsibility. The candidate will coordinate crisis management preparations and responses in country, as well as ensuring the day to day safety & security of Grabbers, visitors, physical assets, and operations, while maintaining strict compliance with local and international regulations. You will be reporting to Head of Corporate Security, Crisis and Resilience.

This role is based in Jakarta office and onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Security Operations Management:
    • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard our people and valuable assets.
    • Proactively manage service providers to ensure a safe environment.
    • Conduct regular security audits and dynamic risk assessments.
    • Work closely with the Head of Security Operations to manage in-country threats and anticipate, prevent and respond to potential business interruptions.
  • Crisis Management:
    • Lead crisis management efforts, including planning, preparation, training & activation.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during crises to ensure effective communication and timely resolution.
    • Conduct post-crisis evaluations and implement improvements.
  • Leadership and Development:
    • Provide leadership and direction to the security team, fostering a culture of safety and vigilance.
    • Develop training programs to enhance the skills and readiness of security personnel and all ID Grabbers.
    • Mentor and support team members in their professional growth.
    • Advise country leadership team on matters related to security, safety and risk.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Manage and coordinate with country leadership and peers on matters relating to security, safety & crisis management.
    • Engage and manage local security partners on operations, support and technology implementation matters.
    • Engage local Polri and TNI liaison officers for matters relating to security and safety of Grabbers.
    • Engage and coordinate with regional teams for security support in country.
  • Collaboration:
    • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork across departments and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, and shared responsibility to address security challenges and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  1. Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.
  2. Advanced degree preferred.
  3. At least 8 years of experience in security management.
  4. Proven track record in crisis management and leadership.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Familiarity with local and international security regulations and best practices.
  8. Ability to travel within the region as needed.
