GrabAds is one of Grab's fastest-growing verticals — we empower advertisers, agencies, and merchants to connect with millions of users through impactful and delightful digital experiences. As part of the Ads Mobile team, you'll report to the Software Engineering Manager and work with passionate engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts. Together, we unlock the power of Grab's unique ecosystem and user base to drive measurable outcomes for our clients — at scale.

This role is based in Singapore and is onsite at Grab office.

Get to know the Role

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer(Flutter) who's excited to shape the merchant advertiser experience across the Grab platform. Your work will help merchant partners better understand their performance, optimize their presence, and make data-informed decisions — all through beautiful, performant mobile experiences.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You'll contribute to the development of new features and improvements for our mobile applications, ensuring they are, perform well, and provide a great user experience.
  • You'll write reusable, scalable, and testable code, ensuring that products are delivered on time and with high quality.
  • You'll participate in maintaining existing mobile applications, which includes bug fixing and performance enhancements.
  • You'll write unit and integration tests, collaborating with QAs to ensure our app releases earn five-star ratings.
  • You'll work with product and design teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • You'll participate in agile development and project management processes, including planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and task estimations, coordinating with team members to ensure project delivery.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • At least 3 years of experience in Flutter app development, with a portfolio of live apps demonstrating the ability to manage the full app development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in mobile application development, with a portfolio of projects in Flutter or Android (Kotlin/Java).
  • Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Understanding of programming paradigms such as OOP, TDD, reactive programming and dependency injection.
  • Knowledge of mobile app UI/UX principles, RESTful APIs.
