Get to Know the Team
Our team drives Grab’s growth by optimizing media spend, aligning resources, and building high-impact campaigns. As a strategic partner, we collaborate across Marketing, Operations, media partners, and agencies to ensure seamless execution and successful product launches. With expertise in performance marketing, we maximize campaign efficiency and ROI through data-driven insights. Our end-to-end campaign management ensures every media touchpoint aligns with Grab’s goals. Through cross-channel integration, we create a cohesive presence across digital, OOH, TV, and radio, directly impacting Daily Transacting Users (DTUs) and brand awareness in Malaysia and Singapore.
Get to Know the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Marketing Head Media to lead our Brand & Performance Marketing efforts across all verticals in Malaysia and Singapore. Reporting to the Regional Head of Growth Capabilities, you will be based onsite at Grab Petaling Jaya office, and are instrumental in driving our marketing strategies and elevating our brand presence in these key markets.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies for brand and performance marketing across all verticals in Malaysia and Singapore
- Lead the marketing team, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Drive data-driven decision making by analyzing marketing metrics and KPIs to inform strategy and improve ROI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business objectives
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, agencies, and media partners
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation
- Present marketing strategies, campaign results, and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Proven track record in developing successful brand and performance marketing strategies
- Experience with digital marketing channels and strategies across multiple verticals
- Expertise in marketing analytics and data-driven decision making
- Experience leading teams, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Malay or Chinese is a plus
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Deep understanding of the Southeast Asian market landscape, particularly Malaysia and Singapore
- Willingness to travel frequently between Malaysia and Singapore
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach to marketing
