Job Description
Get to know the Team
Procure-to-Pay (PTP) team is responsible for processing and managing outgoing payments for our company, ensuring payments are made promptly. We collaborate with different team to support seamless financial operations and contribute to successful month-end closing activities.
Get to know the Role
- The position will be reporting to Finance Manager, PTP and shall be responsible in supporting all Accounts Payable related activities.
- Key accountabilities includes ensuring service delivery in accordance to SLAs / KPIs and quality review.
- Provides clear direction and leadership to the team in line with Finance Ops Support & Services strategy.
This role is based on-site in our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will support the Manager in identifying areas for process optimization and perform quality reviews to ensure adherence to defined policies and procedures.
- You will perform several tasks related to transaction processing, including investigation, resolution, and escalation of issues.
- You will ensure input VAT/GST is accounted for accurately in accordance with the regulations of multiple SEA countries.
- You will maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and metric controls.
- You will perform periodical performance reporting to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
- You will lead, develop, and appraise the Accounts Payable Team, and handle ad hoc assignments when needed.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
- Knowledgeable on P2P and AP processes with hands-on experience and financial impact
- Leadership qualities with a minimum of 3 years of lead role
- Knowledge of AP process with in-depth knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements
