We create beneficial collaborations with merchant partners to enhance their business offering and improve the lives of customers.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a City Assistant Manager to help Grab build strategic relationships with high-profile merchants and increase revenue. You will report to the General Manager. You will be based onsite in Grab Batam office
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Build and manage a team, develop necessary tools to serve and grow our main merchants.
- Have high ownership of city performance & be on top of merchant selection (pareto) and merchant business growth
- Understand the market and competition dynamics, help face the competitive landscape and driving a viable business.
- Engage with merchants, listen to their needs and feedback, and maintain communication.
- Use a data-driven approach to estimate ROI and KPI analysis for each partner to grow basket size and create loyal customers.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service and partners to ensure issues are resolved and service and food quality consistency is maintained.
- Work together with Strategy & Planning team on ongoing and upcoming campaigns & coordinate on the hitlist, segmentation, additional merchant that can be added to make the campaign better when it was run
- Cooperate with Marketing team on all marketing campaigns and projects running and also coordinate regarding asset that was gonna be used on campaign
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree preferably in management, business, public administration, or engineering
- 5 years above of experience in sales business development, account management or operations, including 4+ years of managing a team.
- Knowledgeable in business process management, identifying risk and successful projects execution.
- Experience in communicating both in Bahasa and English
- Interest in carrying out on-ground activities.
- Passion for the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular.
- Experience in negotiation with different partners and experience within tools / applications.
